These Possum Fur & Merino Socks | Navy Blue & Grey Stripe are lightweight but just the warmest.  Perfect dress or casual socks, and especially great colourways for wearing with jeans -  but not suitable to wear with work or walking boots (the possum boot socks are the best for this as a thicker weight). Made in New Zealand for a Tasmanian firm who have been in business since 1920 and where possums are considered a pest as having a huge impact on forests & wildlife.

Tests have shown that Merino Possum blend wool is warmer than cashmere or merino wool alone. The extremely tiny and hollow strands that make up possum fur contribute to its insulation qualities.
