This wooden Soap Holder | King Billy Pine has been handcrafted in Tasmania from a piece of salvaged King Billy pine timber. King Billy Pine or King William Pine is a conifer endemic to Tasmania and found growing mostly throughout the mountainous Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park. King Billy pine also has rot resisting qualities (perhaps not as much as Huon pine) & was often traditionally used for house building - mostly for window frames & doors (these soap holders were made from an old window frame)
